Comfortably seated in a modern, intimate dining room with a panoramic view over the Doire valley and Château d'Anjony, you can enjoy inventive cuisine based on reinterpreted regional produce, a perfect blend of tradition and modernity.

Close to Aurillac, Salers and Puy Mary (Grand Site de France), La Petite Grange offers you a place to savour and share.

The chefs

Olivier Cloteau & Xavier Taffart

Our Chef Olivier Cloteau will share with you his taste for quality, fresh, seasonal produce in our traditional recipes, subtly revisited and often personalised with a few maritime and iodised touches in reference to his origins in the Charente region.

He applies precision and rigour to the gourmet dishes on our menu, developed in partnership with Xavier Taffart (1 star in the Michelin Guide), who offers modern, creative cuisine in his restaurant L'Aquarelle in Breuillet (17). Trained alongside renowned chefs, Olivier Cloteau has developed his expertise through his experiences in France and abroad.

Today, he supervises the teams cooking at La Petite Grange. Winner of the Gault&Millau "Le 109" and Michelin Guide awards, Bib Gourmand 2023 and 2024, he is gradually gaining recognition from his peers.

At La Petite Grange, Olivier Cloteau and Xavier Taffart invite you to share their love of fresh, seasonal produce.

Using ingredients rigorously selected from local producers, the chefs offer inventive cuisine, revisiting traditional local recipes and sometimes adding a touch of the sea, a maritime influence from their Charente origins.

In the dining room, our restaurant manager, attentive to your needs, will help you discover the subtleties of the menu and enthusiastically share her passion for good produce.

From 02 September 2024, the bistronomic restaurant is open for lunch and dinner on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Saturdays and Sunday lunchtimes. Also open on public holidays. Service from 12:15 to 13:30 and from 19:15 to 20:30.
Closed Monday, Thursday, Friday all day and Sunday evening.

NB : Pets are not allowed in the restaurant.

What are the restaurant's opening times ?
From 02 September 2024, bistronomic restaurant is open for lunch and dinner on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Saturdays and Sunday lunchtimes. Also open on public holidays. Service from 12:15 to 13:30 and from 19:15 to 20:30. Closed Monday, Thursday, Friday all day and Sunday evening. The bistronomic restaurant is open from 12:15 to 13:30 and from 19:15 to 20:30. The tearoom is open from 2.30 pm to 5.30 pm. Exceptional openings or closures are possible. Please consult our website and Facebook page or ask at reception.
Is La Petite Grange open all year round ?
La Petite Grange restaurant and tearoom is open all year round, except during the annual closure from early January to mid-February.
Are pets allowed in our restaurant ?
Pets are not allowed in the restaurant at La Petite Grange. On a lead, they are welcome on our outside areas : terrace and garden. Water is available on request.
Is the restaurant suitable for families ?
Families are welcome at La Petite Grange. We have a special menu for young gourmets, with age-appropriate proportions. A booster seat is also available. To give you the best possible welcome and enable us to make the necessary arrangements, please let us know if you have small children when you make your reservation.
Is the restaurant suitable for people with reduced mobility ?
Access and facilities at La Petite Grange restaurant are adapted for people with reduced mobility. However, the presence of stairs leading to the garden makes access difficult for people with reduced mobility.
How to get to La Petite Grange restaurant ?
Located in Tournemire in the Cantal, La Petite Grange restaurant is easily accessible by road via the D160. From Aurillac (20 km south, a 20-25 minute journey) or Mauriac (35 km north, a 30-35 minute journey), follow the D922 towards Saint-Cernin, then take the D160 to Tournemire. From Salers (25km away, a 25-30 minute journey), follow the D680 towards Saint-Martin Valmeroux, then take the D922 and the D160. The village of Tournemire is not served by public transport, so we recommend that you use your own means of transport. Aurillac railway station and airport.
Where can I park near the restaurant ?
For parking, we recommend the municipal car park 200 metres from the restaurant (pay parking from 9am to 7pm; fixed price €2 per day). Vehicles can be dropped off in front of the restaurant for people with reduced mobility.
